What are Tokens?

If you level up in Kartridge or complete a quest or activity, you may get a Token!

Tokens can be redeemed to purchase any game on Kartridge. Each token is worth a set value, and you can use as many tokens as you'd like when making a purchase.

Q: How much are Tokens worth?

A: Tokens are worth $5.00 USD.

Q: Can I use a Token to partially pay for a game?

A: No. Tokens must be processed as the single payment method used on a purchase.

Q: Can I use Tokens on a purchase that I have applied a coupon to?

A: No, but you can use Tokens to pay for discounted games.

Q: If I use a Token to pay for a game that costs less than the whole value of the token, is there a balance left on my account?

A: No. Tokens are fully consumed when you use them as a payment method.

Q: I have a token! Do I have to use it on my next purchase or can I save up a few of them for one big game?

A: You can use a token at any time or save it for later. Tokens required to purchase a game vary based off the price of the game.

Q: How long do tokens last? Do they have an expiration date?

A: Tokens expire 90 days after you earn them.

Q: At what Kartridge levels will I get a token?

A: Tokens are awarded at level 7, 10 and 2 tokens at level 15!

Q: Can I use tokens on any game on Kartridge?

A: Developers can allow token use on their games. Some games may not be available for purchase with tokens.

A: Kartridge can show you! Look up at the Token icon in the top right corner of the application. Your available number of tokens will be listed there.
